Well i'm sittin watchin the Bears gettin tossed around by the falcolns when I noticed my tank start to get cloudy and cloudier.... I jumped out and ran to the tank and screamed "WTF!!!":confused::confused:. I opened up my stand door and saw calcium dripping into the sump from my auto doser. Then I really screamed "WTF!!!!!":angry:. I looked ver at my autodoser and saw 1/2 the calcium resoivoir was empty which means about a 1/4 gallon of calcium dripped into my system. I use B-ionic two part system.

My tank crashed!!! I sat their numb as I saw it snow. Sitting there helpless looking at it .

I have my auto doser on my freshwater bin for my ato. And I lifted the auto doser above the water pumps which cause the Ca and Alk to run down the tubing. when I set it down it must of created some type of siphon from the Ca and alk holding tubs. Slowly chemicals leaked into my sump at a heavy heavy drip. So my tank looks like this:

Im just numb right now.... Dont know what to think.

WOW, that really sucks. Have no idea how to deal with it other than what you have already done.

    Good luck.

What's your ph? If it's just calcium it will clear up.
I had the same thing happen a few months ago and nothing was harmed in my tank.

I'd try changing out all the water as fast as possible. Even if you have to use straight tap water for the time being. drain all the water down to about an inch or two off of the substrate and refill.

Can't get much worse than it already is.

my apex displayed 8.8 when it was snowing.

Has dropped down significantly to 8.3 after water change.

Yeah don't panic, look to the wild for direction here. Make slower changes. I'd continue doing 10% wc's daily until the numbers start to test closer to normal. Get the water to an LFS store for a full battery of tests and post the results on one of the ASAP sheets in my sig. That should give you an idea of what direction to head in next.
