    lol excuse the tank I just got the clean up crew today plus the nitrates are still high making it very difficult to get rid of algae

    Ok..your fuge is one thing..looks a bit small for that size tank...but something is better than nothing...we can work on that.
    ..also, you need to open another thread in regards to your Overflow..you'll get a better response and more feedback..just open it up in the "overflow" part of forums...easier to keep track of...and easier for new folks to find out about certain subjects...that being said...your tank dont look like too much algae...seen much worse believe me. lol : ) time to dial it in !! nitrates bad...

    You don't need LED. Just a normal lamp lightbulb. The compact fluorescent type that look light corkscrews.
