Will do. It is pricy for the multi but seeing was believing.

Ive ordered a new pump for my skimmer to try. Its a
    Via Aqua - Model 306 - (0-526 gph)

I got it from a vender on ebay for 20 bucks with shipping. Should see it next week sometime. I will keep you posted after I upgrade the skimmer and see if it kicks out the gunk like I hope it does. with 525 gph that should help some for sure.

Heres a page that has a bunch of info on getting your remora to work. I also emailed the president of aquaC remora and asked him about the pump that I will be trying. I will let you all know what he says.

I have 2 skimmers that still work pretty good still but they could be better.

Heres the reply from Jason. FYI. My new pump is not here yet...crossing fingers behind back for it to be here by Friday!

    Jay,

The only parts of the skimmer that ever need cleaning would be the spray injector and the pumps... did you clean out the injector with the provided brush? That Via Aqua pump is powerful and should work really well on the Remoras... possibly even too powerful in fact. Running a bigger pump is definitely one way to increase the performance from the skimmer, however if you have noticed a steady decline in performance it is probably due to a clogged part more than anything else. Other than that, there really aren't any other mods you can do...

    Hello:

I have 2 of your skimmers that really kicked out the skimmate for about 6 months but really quieted down since then. I have cleaned them inside and cleaned the pump and the jet. Is there some upgrade to my pump that will kick these into overdrive so I can get some skimmate production? I have ordered a Via Aqua - Pump Model 306 - (0-526 gph) skimmer
    from ebay. Heres the link

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4371765211&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWN:IT&rd=1

Do you think this will help having a bigger pump? I figure you would know. If you rember me I am the guy you sent a replacement skimmer to in Moses Lake. Thank You by the way. Let me know what mods I can do to help these things rock again.

    Thanks
    Jay
