haha now car talk. awesome. i just bought my first car and it put me even more in the hole than my fishkeeping hobby. i didnt even know that was possible. haha. i bought myself a 2002 special edition mercury cougar. it has a suped up engine and custom leather interior. im really proud of it considering i worked for almost 2 years to pay for it. oh and dont forget the subs. haha. just for the record im 17. maybe too fast of a car for me. ;)

sure it is... most things on the road are pretty fast... 80+mph isn't exactly crawling or being outrun by Old Western carriages...

nobody is saying it's a race car dude...

if you feel the need to say "not to be a blank"... then you're being a blank... ;):p

Well said. Cougars are pretty decent little cars.

Actually the cougar I drove was a 1990 something, (1994 maybe) turbo charge with a stick shift, which makes a very fast car. I've driven one, and for a stock car is pretty darn fast.. I smoked the heck outa the tires.. Fast enough, especially for a 18 year old. If He has a v-6 it's fast enough. I'm hoping he doesn't kill himself in the process.

Oh and faster than my 4 cylinder accord at that. Also the Cougar I drove was still rear wheel drive then.
