I have a small sabae anemone in my tank and yesterday she completely moved to the other side on the tank and she shrivled up, and looks a little discolored, but she is still alive. So I called the pet store and asked them if she was dead...and they said that she may be dead or she wants to find a new spot in the tank. So i went ahead and moved her to where the light is hitting her and she stayed their, but she is not opening up. I want to know what i can do?? :-/

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME???!!!!

dont ever move an anemone unless its detached from rock, as you may hurt its Foot. Its probably just moving around for a more comfortable place ;)

i dont think thats enough light for an anemone. and 2 months isnt enough time for anemone purchase. I would return it if possible. im guessing PC lights which i dont think could support an anemone unless there were Alot of them or anemone was placed right at top of tank :-/ Usually halides or T5's are needed for anemones. stick with easy corals and work way up as you upgrade......

    Good advice AB,
Lights and maturity of tanks are a common problem for anemonys ,
    have you ever fed it?

I had a LTA with pc for about 8 yrs and never had a problem. I dont think she has pc's(power compacts) but instead the cheaper ones that come with the tank.
