    check this out folks.. my sand is on fire j/j there is a discharge from the sand i think i know what caused it but just wondering what you all think. see vid below. the smoke is at the very start and at about 1 min and 14 sec.

    Interesting. Perhaps it is some snail or worm doing that.

    Now I got it, the pop up blocker stopped it. SAA, you had better address the Green hair algae. I had something like that once only it came from inside the rock work. Was told maybe a clam or other mollusk of some kind.

    Looks like stomatellas mating. They mate by releasing eggs/sperm into the water column.

    Yes, on the GHA I didn't realize it was you (same person). Good it will be a very gratifying experience once you have totally resurected the tank.
