my sand is turning back???

I dont understand how my sand is turning somewhat black from the bottom.the sand shifters have been in the ank and i have alot of them more than i thought i had.does anyone have a clue what this is?

Is it a Deep sand bed ? or more then 3 inches deep ? if so remove it .. If its just a 1" or so simply stir it up and point more water flow to that area's The sand is totally anaerobic now and that can wipe a tank out if left to build you and it rolls up ..No sand sifters I know of can breath it . They will never go near it maybe the Dr. sand man has a new fix again ? As for the link to Randy the water boy LOL I can't read that Boring stuff myself Big words not a nice reef make LOL I think many feel to ramble on with words make them seem smarter LOL ? I do not understand half of it myself and care about it less then that..

 

It's a good article if you have some sort of background in Chemistry. It's Chem 101, 102, 103 stuff, but without it, some could get lost. I even saw a balanced equation!!! I haven't seen one of those in 25 years.

 

ROTFLMAO that guy bores me to tears . Guys like him figure if they bore you enough that you will just agree and move on LOL . LOL. Yeah. But I really dig that stuff. It ties everything together. Kind of like reading Einstein's theories without the math, it does not make as much sense. I am an equation kind of guy. I think they call dudes like me nerds.

There is actually a term for that. It's called Empiric therapy.
