I figure the same, but the water definitely varies depending on the water level in the sump.

    ---------UPDATE------------UPDATE--------------UPDATE-------------UPDATE--------------

I finally got the time to hard line my separate tank fuge! Below is a picture. I must admit that the water level in the refugium is much more consistent with the PVC in place of the plastic hose line! The fuge is running beautifully and extremely abundant with pods, pineapple sponges, worms, and even Halameda!

How did you mount it to the ceiling?

Actually, there is nothing mounted to the ceiling. It's just PVC ran from the return pump in the sump, that 'T's' to the refugium before being 'elbowed' up the back side of the display tank. The PVC is mounted in the fuge and the back side of the display tank with simple suction cups like you would find on a heater. I will take some "up-close" pictures when time permits.

Wow....seriously? HOW CRAZY...The picture is not upside down on my computer. That's really funny though! Maybe I should stop blogging while I am on my Inversion Table! J/K::);D:cheesy::cheesy:;).

I think I have fixed the picture now- please let me know if otherwise! Thanks.
