Does the venturi have an hose/air-feed?

 

thank you for help me Matt.me i put one pipe for venturi hose.its hose for use to air stone.and i think its to small.tomorrow i put some hose bigger.i help skimmer with air pomp and working super.but jus when remove the cover for cup.and understand whay?

other skimmer its not close ermetical?

 

so i resolve my problem now i see all skimmers have the cover for cup whit 4-5-6 small or bigger hole for airs out.

Hello again I have a question. What must be the water level in the skimmer? i want to know.
more foam than water or more water than foam?or 50% water 50% foam?

i put this question because the water level stay to up where its begin of white part and i thing its to much water and to little foam.

I thought to cut pipes to tap out to leave them less and in this case remain 50%-50% water and foam.
but the problem is another one :sump will be 40cm tall and I calculated all the pipes with valves to come out to 40cm tall glass of water over buffer.


How should I redesign sump now? If you decrease skimmer pipes will be 15cm tall.and in this way may regulate the flow of the skimmer valve. but I still get over glass pipes buffer

We need to see some pics to be able to help you. Post some pics of it working under water.

Not sure what your asking. The water mixes with the air in the skimming chamber, then all of the air bubbles and debris rise to the top into the collection cup.

or i need to cut pipes with 25cm and then have more foam and litle water level?

 

You will adjust the water level until it gets to about that water level line you have drawn. The bubbles should start there and work their way up. i'm not really sure where exactly the outputs should be...maybe someone else can help there.

 

hi again.have it one more question please.the pipe where is in the water from my pump (RESUN KING 3 with needle impeler) at the end of the pipe inside the skimmer I put an elbow to 90 degrees downwards to the bottom of skimmer.is this correct? or elbow that had directed otherwise?
