my snails keep carpet surfing....

    recently im gettin snails carpet surfing...

    luckily i always put them back into the tank.. (they arent out of the water for longer than 2 days.. if i find them.. but im always finding snails all over..

    today i found a snail crawling on the wall almost in the roof!!:eek:
    this has never happened before.. only in my 29g... this is crazy..

    You have algea growing on your walls???...lol..jk..wonder why they are going for long walks..

    nerite snails.

    Hmmm never heard of nerites doing that! I know there are some snails that like to go exploring outside of the tank, especially periwinkles.

    I'm glad my nerites don't do that! I think one tried but he ended up in the overflow. Yeck! They are too big to be roaming around!!

    i literally just picked up close to 10 snails from the ground.. i didnt know they were there..
    it seems they closed up tight and now they are just letting the water in.. at least they are alive..

    whu do they keep doing this?

    mine occasionally do that. they just dont stop when they get out of water... only nerites though
