I managed to get 2 pics tonight of my cube tank in my home office. I still need to finish tightening up the cord to my Kessil light.

I was at a loss on how to put this up over the tank until I began brainstorming while at Lowe's. I didn't want to get the goose neck for the light, as I was afraid of attaching it to the rim of the tank. I had ordered light hanging kit but there was no way to modify it either. One afternoon while at Lowe's trying to find perhaps something in the garden center that might work or even in the build your own shelving aisle. I remembered we have a drop ceiling in this room and found they make plastic clips that came with S hooks to attach to the metals grids. I then made it to the aisle where you buy chain by the linear foot and found light weight black chain that I open up the links to make a V to attach to the clips that come attached to the light. We still want to run the cord a little tighter & hopefully hide the wire behind molding as it comes back down the wall.

    Here are my pics:

I really love the Kessil light. I like that it doesn't flood the room with so much light as compared to the Blue Reef ones we are using on our large tank in our nook.

They seem to be doing fine although I've only been using the light now just over a week. This tank is set up about a month now and previously I was using my Solar Max 30" T5 light I had been using on my 37 gallon tank. It took some time figuring out how to hang the Kessil until recently.

Like the rock work. I'm not a big fan of the branch rock but it looks good the way you have it setup.

Thanks! I wasn't either at first but it all started with the branch on the left side of the tank. The base looked so much like a large trunk and then I realized I could drill holes & use pegs to hold them together. I wanted it to look like a tree that might have fallen in the woods and then slowly picked pieces at the LFS having diameter match up & worked on more branch structures. The seams are covered with the pink epoxy since you could see the gaps of where pieces came together.
