I have this one Acro that just seems to love my tank, enduring a minor tank crash and it still grew. (No TDS meter on my RODI = learning experience.) Now that I have everything in my new 180 and the setup is going good I figured I would document the growth. Lighting is a custom design based off of Evolve's thread for the Rapid LED DIY.

Here are the pics, wish I had Photoshop installed so I could color correct the pics but I can do that another day.

    Mother Colony:
[Has exhibited excellent growth and doubled in size and new sprouts not to mention totally encrusting around it as well. 4 inches tall x 2 inches wide]

    Frag one:
[Started out as a single piece that had broken off in shipping and decided to put it on a frag disc] ~6 months of growth 2 inches wide x 1.5 inches tall

    Frag Disc:
[Where Frag one had started on and completely encrusted the disc, figured why not?]

    Frag 2:
[When fragging piece one I bumped a new growth spot so I decided to add it to a rock to monitor growth. Also note just to the right is a spot that some encrusting on the rock from the frag plug so I will monitor that as well]

Going to monitor growth for all the pieces, and see how it goes!

    Following.

Can you use photobucket to correct the image coloration? I would like to try to ID it.

Congrats on the growth, always rewarding to actually see some results.

I tried and failed it was not as good. I have a photographer coming over next weekend to take pics so he will take much better pics than I can with my iphone.

As for ID the acro it is actually white with light green polyps. Got it from Jeff at RAH.

    dang it.

Now you have planted a bug I will have to go through the 30 pages to quell the curiosity. lol.

I want to see the green polyps and white base. Maybe an Orchid of some sort?

    Oh well, patience.

By the way anyone interested in trading frags I am welcome to trades, there is somewhat limited selection for SPS in my area and some online retailers are just out of control with pricing some of these corals.
