My Sps is bleaching!

    I just recently bought this bad boy, with the success of my montipora I figured I could handle another one, I dont know what its called but not the point, it started to bleach on the tips, I dont know what to do or what im doing wrong, im buying some dt phytoplankton this weekend when my LFS gets more but for not I dont know whats going wrong. I bought it and after reading on acclimation of sps I decided to drip acclimate it, and start it about mid way in my tank, but its starting to bleach :( any suggestions?


    Ph - 7.8 ---- Low I know, buying a buffer tonight, didnt think it was an issue since all coral were doing really well

    Kh - 160
    Cal - 480
    Amm- 0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 0
    Phosphates - 0
    Salt - 1.024

    looks like the tip is dieng off not just bleaching

    well the pH can definitely cause some peeling/death to occur

    You can raise your pH by keeping your house well aired out to keep the CO2 in the house from dissolving into your water. Pointing your circulation pumps at the surface will increase gas exchange also.
