My first tank was a 29 and I added a pair of clowns right after the cycle, just have some prime on hand in case of a small spike in params, but you should be good.

EDIT: I should mention I had no spike at all....

Cool. I'm using microbacter7 so it shouldn't be an issue.

correction, its ignorant of you to suggest that a clown is not an aggressive fish. they are very aggressive, only even more so when spawning.
sure if you put a clown into a tank full of established fish the clown will not be aggressive as it has no territory to defend, if you add clowns to your tank first they will establish a large territory and will defend it with their lives, exactly like how damsels do. they will bully even the largest fish, i had a pair of perculas pick on a niger trigger until its fins were nipped so badly it could swim no longer and died shortly after. you cannot possibly say these fish are peaceful the majority of the time.

No what's ignorant is believing your experiences are golden rules and then shoving that down everyone's throat on their threads! you need a lesson in humility! Why do you always have to post like its your way or the highway? It's really uncool to Bully your beliefs on people here! Coraillinf warned you about it last week! You should really tone down the way you post! it's only gonna turn people off to your ideas and this forum! you can say your peace and opinions in a mature calm way and probably get alot better results and feedback!IMO

I'm chiming in here cause....I hate clowns!!! They are mean, they bite and whatever they decide to host they do. And you can forget about putting your hands in your tank ever again. I HAD 1 occy and it's name was Cujo. That fish would jump out of the water to bite me. Clown fish are over rated, over bread and pure evil :) I'm done now lol.
Fang Blennys don't bite, mine doesn't :) I am also looking/waiting on a pair of White Banded Pygmy Wrasses.

P.S. you 2 up there are acting like a pair of clowns!!
