look right above the green BN colony, and you will see an eye. That's him after nearly a week in the tank.

For a big guy, it sure is shy.

I have no clue if it has eaten yet. I have not seen it eat yet during feedings.

It has another week of LA guarantee, so hopefully it starts swimming around and eating the food I feed it. I can say it is a lot less shy that it was a week ago, or even a couple days ago. it does swim around the rocks in the caves a little now. Before it would just sit in a cave and hide. It has no marks from fighting, so that is good.

Now my mandarin I got the same day is all over the place. I will post up a pic or 2 of him when I have a chance.

At least he is hiding where you can see. Will turning off your halide help? Just a thought.

fish looks cool from what I can see....but OMG your corals are awesome!

When my friend took down her tank I inherited her large mystery wrasse. For about the first week it was very shy and when it did come out my bellus chased it off. Now he has settled in and is out in the open all the time!

you do have a cover over your tank? they are jumpers!

So, to have fun with this fish, since it cost me 80 bucks and doesn't swim around (yet) to show off how pretty it is, I am officially making this a "where's Waldo" thread. I don't like to name my fish, but that name may have stuck now, simply due to it's secretive nature.

Of course I will give out K+ to the first that finds him.
