Here are some pictures of my tank after 4 months. Got quite a few corals and 5 fishes.

Fishes: Blue tang, false clown, mandarin goby, hifin goby, copperband butterfly, purple firefish, flameback angel

Corals: Greentip frog, pink tip frog, brain coral, bubble, galaxia, duncan, zoas, a sps that i forgot the name of and a couple of other corals that i forgot.

What do you guys think? I love staring at the tank late at night, it's so peaceful......

Tank looks great what did you use the gray pond foam for the rear glass ? We just reworked a 1,200 system and used the foam on the bottom and dusted that with sand looks really natural and nothing to clean and If my theory works ? The underside should build up anaerobic areas to serve and a denitrating area like a plenum . I did install a pit cock to draw off excess bio sludge if and when necessary. But the Foam is the up and coming product..

    Tangster,

Yep that grey foam is the up and coming product for aquariums. My LFS suggested that i use it for both looks and denitrating. I got some coralline algae growing on it already.

I'm addicted to this stuff man. I can't stop myself from buying more and more corals.

    Thanks for the compliments.

    Matt,

I don't have a link to the foam. My LFS applied it on for me. Cost was an extra 150.00. If you want i can ask him where he got the stuff from.
