I've been very patient and starting to get my tank setup...Here's how it's going....
I do have a couple hitchikers that I can't ID....any help on this would be welcome..........

    4 clowns
1 green mandarin goby ( eating frozen brine shrimp and frozen blood worms )
    1 pom pom crab
    1 hitchiker (porcelian crab - I think)
3 or 4 types of green algae plants
3 types of red algae plants
    a number of featherduster hitchikers
1 large brown worm feather duster
    8 purple with green mushrooms
1 purple with blue dots mushroom
    1 sun coral
5 blue leg hermit crabs (wish I had never bought these things..grrrr)

The 2nd and 3rd pictures are the hitchikers I would like to have ID'd ...
    2nd - these 3 suck inside themselves....
3rd - I kinda think it might be a leather of some kind - seems to 'shed' quite often...

Not sure but number 2 looks kinda like aiptasia.
Correct me if Im wrong 3reefers. If it is you may want to get some Joe's juice or some peppermint shrimp (just make sure theyre true peps and not camels)

nice looking tank! Number 2 does not look like aptasia at all, looks like another sun coral possibly, it looks like there is a skeletal base, aptasia do not have a skeletal structure at all, and they would not look like that if they multiplied. Have they stayed there the whole time?

I've had my mandarin for about 2 weeks....I saw him eat frozen brine shrimp in the store I got him from. Bought him immediately....He seems to prefer Blood worms but will eat brine shrimp toooo....He seems really happy and I love him....YAHOOOOO

I really don't think No 2 is aiptasia either it's very stationary and seems to have a solid base....its in the shade for sure and hides most of the time......There are the 3 in a clump and the clumps have been there I think since I got the rock...The rock that is mostly red and purple is all one piece and quite a find 'at least to me' I didn't notice any thing 'in' the clumps for 2 months or so....They seem to retract when they are threatened and yet they don't look at all like a feather duster........I'm going to try to get a better picture from the back side as soon as I clean the glass back there...LOL
    This is sooooo much fun........
    Thanks
    Karen

Holy cow is that an in tank filter! if thats the one I am thinking of I havent seen them in years. I had one about 10 to 12 years ago. it had a built in heater bio chamber and a small wet in dry, all in tank. cool. The name escapes me.
edit: ok I remembered the bio life filter.

if it is you have to keep the bio blocks clean or they will build up nitrates, also when you change the bio blocks only do one at time so it can seed the other bioblock with the bacteria.

#3 is some kind of algae and if I remember correctly it is not one you will want in your tank.
