I read that most people hate setting up a tank and that is a lot of work, but that is when I had the most fun. That was my favorite part of my aquarium, setting it up. I want to set up a 10 gallon so I can work on that, but my parents say I would have to move out lol. I guess I could clean my tank out more.

I have to say that the best part of my tank is sitting back and watching. I don't miss the initial set up at all. By watching, all the work is done (mostly.)

I do miss the setup a bit but I dont miss the algae blooms, The trying to figure out where the next blood drive is to sell blood to afford your next fish hahaha j/k. I do like just seeing all the neat hitchhikers if you got good ones that is and the first time coraline algae grows on something you know what I mean before it grows everywhere haha. You all know that too. I would like to go from my 220 to twice that size in the wall but the wife wouldent divorce me she would kill me!

I'm 6 months in and still in the building phase. I don't think the build is ever really done. I also have a Seahorse tank that I will get started on one of these days.

I can't wait to get started on my next tank - although stressful at times, it is fun to plan everything out & then making it reality.

start a business setting up other peoples tanks. There are a lot of doctors offices out there that are just screaming for a tank. Plus one of the things I have run into is that people are impatient and not willing to learn. This is where someone more deticated can jump in and make some money.

My wife just told me she wanted a Seahorse tank in her kitchen. I had to do a double take, go clean out my ears, then ask her to repeat herself. I watched her lips move just to make sure I wasn't hearing her incorrectly. Twist my arm. She will get her seahorse tank. Yeah....I like the set up process as well. Something out of nothing.
