I bet you still have ich in your tank, it's that you just have healthy fish that can fight it off right away! Every tank has ich in it, only tanks that have bad conditions or stressed fish exhibit the "infestation" ;)

are you sure, i had never seen any white patches on any of my fish. Another thing that i have never had in my tank is any hitchiking worms like bristle worms, no isopods, no jelly fish things, no copepods, no hitchhikers, no nothing. Its like my live rock was nuked or something but at the same time it was live, maybe i just got lucky, because im sure in the tanks 6 months of life i would have seen something by now especailly with how many times ive reaquascaped

Some aquarists argue that ICH is always present in all aquariums with any sort of life in it while others argue that it is introduced by a fish with the parasite.

I'm a firm believer of, like dingo stated that it is always present in your tank and only the sick, stressed out fish will show the parasites on their bodies.

Congrats! Mine has been ich-less for around 9 months after a big outbreak when I first started up my tank. I let it sit without fish for two months and haven't seen it since!
