I like your leather coral and the rock placement.

I would seriously work on water quality though or possibly get a big enough clean up crew. Snails are my preference over hermits but either or both would work fine. What are your phosphate and nitrate levels at? How old are you light bulbs and what type are you running?

It's a very good start, but you just need to get a handle on the gha which really isn't a big deal. I would be a little reluctant to put any calupera into the tank as it has a big potential to start reproducing which will mean you will have the feather calupera all over your tank too. Cheato is much more stable, although not quite as efficient.

Most people's algae issues come from over feeding or not using RO/DI water. 1 cube of frozen food is waaay too much for most tanks. If you can describe you feeding habits and also where you get your source water from, we can help you get that issue under control.

What type lights? T5? How old are your lights? In your profile I don't see a protein skimmer or a phosphate reactor, these should be added. What is your light schedule?

6 hours a day lighting it in my sig, i have a wonderful clean up crew, i use ro/di water and i have 4 fish, the source of my GHA if more than likely my canister filter but until i have enough $$ to buy a skimmer ill have to live with it. i am doing weekly water changes and i dont think the caulpera can spread with spores i think it has to spread by a piece breaking off and falling on a rock. hopefully within a month or so the GHA wil be gone
