    Thanks Seano !
The tanks doing great acros are growing good , funny thing all that xeina all but died a few months back and has since re populated :-/

I'm trying hard to get the max color out of my corals running bio pellets, feeding in real small amounts.

I am doing at about 40 mil of brs calcium and Alk at night and 15 mil of mag once weekly.

The clam was sold to my as a maxima but I'm no clam pro!
Thanks again for the kind words you two.

I love all the montis! :)

There is a kind of clam known as a teardrop maximal. I am not if that referrs (sp?) to the 'scallop', or teardrop shaping of the shell structure, or the pattern of the mantle.

So it lives on the sandbed.
Yes it's a teardrop grade a maxima I was told but I don't buy the grade a nonsense lol..

    Also
I'm moving tanks in about 6-8 months I received a free 48x15x15 tanks reef ready stand with sump a euro reef skimmer and all the pumps yesterday but I'm not setting up till I move to the house... The new tank will be sps only and I'm getting a 180 built for mixed reef and better fish lol.

Off the top of my head I believe you are correct.. So do you or anyone think one of those cheap 48" t5ho lights will work for ok for a tank that shallow ?

    Edit:

So I guess its been longer then I thought.
Lets move back from the below...

I upgraded tank to 6' fijimoto with custom stand and canapy. put in larges ATI retro fit T5HO ligting I could fit and made a refug and sump but issues arose

first after a few months of moving tanks we had to move homes but this part was for the better. our kids go there own rooms and the place is much larger and closer to the kids schools.

back to the tank...after the great move the tank crashed KINDA... it was up and down then down and then down more then back up etc see below

So it's been a while but after the move the tank took a turn for the worst. After months and months of standing bye and helping in all the small ways.....
I have coraline growth again and most of my corals are doing better.
It's been rough corals randomly dieing or Zoas melting while others thriving and growth
Lost acros while other flourished real wierd stuff..
The good new like I stated is its finally better and coming around.
Pics to follow soon. And also I'm in this home for at least another year and a half. But we hopping to buy this place.
