alright, so far I've had a cleaner, red fire :(, and a peppermint shrimp dye, + all of my corals look horrible (except my sun coral): Anthelia, kenya tree, xenia, Frags(alive, leathers), hundreds of zooanthids(they're actually opening up now, not dying anymore)..

55 gallon, just changed the filters on it, I have done 6 five gallon water changes over the last two days, and i'm going to do a 5 gallon change every hour tonight.. But my salinity is 1.025, no amonia, no nitrite and low nitrate (.5).... And I have changed nothing in my tanks and really can't understand why my tank water was grey(getting clearer) except that it started when I got my cleanup crew wednesday.. [[[ My galexy that I bought has turned completely white? Could that have been what has nuked my tank? ]]] Like at first I thought the nitrate was attacking, but i checked it with my drops test kit and the levels were fine... is there anything I can do becides these water changes?

yes, and I also thought it might have been from my purple tip condy, which had a few of its tentacles broken? I don't have a hospital tank but i have a bucket with a light on it with the alive condy that is fine, and the probably dead - bleach white galexy :(. But that doesn't seem right, the water is grey in the buckets i'm taking out when i do water changes...

I bought like a clean up crew to add stuff.. I got 40 hermits, 3 emerald crabs, 1 starfish, 10 snails, 1 peppermint, the galexy and some mystery coral which im not really sure what it is yet. The mystery one was covered in algae when i got it, i put like 5 turbo snails on it to get the stuff off, but that was just algae i think..

if you didnt have creatures that actually are dying , I would say let the filter work for a bit...but with all those water changes and still grey?...and death..It couldnt hurt to start isolating...maybe someone else will chime in with some more help...params are all good?...how grey is grey...got a picture...whats the filter your using?..just spit ball'n here...if it started with the cuc...something there. ??

You say you changed your filters did you add carbon? Did you rinse the carbon first?

The water is clearing up.. still not good, but getting better.. i have changed about 45 gallons so far (in 5 gallon intervals) and all of the water comes out grey so it should keep getting a little better.. Even though my corals are doing very bad I am glad my fish don't seem to be hurting, none of them have died :) bright side.. If anyone else has anything to say that might help or might know why this happened please tell.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
May we please see an image of the tank, the galaxy, the unknown coral.

Lastly watch that star fish, they will be the first to go in a stressed tank. What type of star fish?

Also make sure you have as much surface agitation as you can get or add some supplemental O2 if you can.

Might i also add that the fish have ate through all of this, and are still eating well.. Idk if that counts out any disease in my tank that might be plaguing me
