I thought it was ok that they touch. I finally looked today and realized the torch was kicking the hammers ass. I need to find a new spot for one of them.

Sometimes they do good together and sometimes they dont. I keep all my euphyllia together but I don't have a torch. My GSP was actually kicking my hammers butt, crazy. Nice corals by the way

Usually hammer and frogspawn will be ok touching, but torch will almost always sting hammer or frogspawn.

Didn't know they could he mean. Hear is mine. It was only near clam for a couple minutes while I clean the sand on other side of the tank.

LPS while, cute and cuddly are mean and nasty! I just saw last night that my mycedium was eating my doughnut coral, arrrrg!

I want a gold torch, but I have zero space for a far reaching LPS like them. So, I need a bigger tank.

You will find as your coral continue to grow, they will fight each other. I used to care so much about making sure coral had enought room. Now some have gotten so big, I accept that their will be some coral warfare. You will lose some pcs, it happens.

+1 my Hammer and Frogspawn are actually have their tentacles interweave where they meet and have no issues, but I have heard that torch will sting both of them.

Good point. I had a doughnut coral that was too close to an acan, so I got home and saw his insides coming out his side to attack the acan. The acan lost a few heads, boo. So I moved it over. Then during some rearrangement I didn't notice my mycedium next to the doughnut coral, about an inch away. Well, the next day I saw that the mycedium took some revenge on the doughnut coral and now a little bit of his skeleton is showing. the mycedium didn't like his besty mr acan getting attacked! :D

Here is one of my hammers touching my big frogspawn colony and my green torch touching the frogspawn colony also. No issues. Some of my fish and a shrimp snuck in too. lol

Newb here. So I'm just researching. But from what I've read, lps is much easier to care for than sps and such. But if they are all so violent, how the heck do you make a tank full of lps?
