Woke up this morning and found that one of my fish had commited suicide by jumping out of the tank . I think he was tired of the red algae problem however there was no note found. On the plus side he was only a cheap damsel that I've had for the last 10 months to help acclimate the new tank. Now if i could get the others to jump out instead of trying to catch em i'd be all set for the future additions ::)

Sorry for your loss. Add some water movement to the tank may get rid of the cyanos algae.

    Also sorry for loss.

Am pretty certain it did not make the big jump due to algae problem, but maybe for reason causing it.

    Water flow as Otty said.

Water changes and vacuuming what you can also helps getting under control.

    Good Luck!

I'm gonna take a stab and say the OP is aware of this but was just trying out some humor seeing as how he also included the lack of a note and all.

    ;)

sucks that your fish died. I would gladly weather the trauma of my damsel dying if he would jump from my tank though. I know it's mean but i'm tired of him. Good luck with the cyano

Just added 2 Hydor Koralia 4's to the tank that Sant brought me. Hope they make a difference!

Not sure on a replacement yet, I dont have any clowns yet and would really like to get a pair.
