    One of my turbos died here about two weeks ago and this is what happened in my tank. The wrasse plucked him out.....then played with the shell. I let the piece of meat stay in the tank for two days while the coral banded shrimp, my lone large hermit crab and the rest of the fish finished it off. I was lucky. It just didn't sit and rot. I don't feed the tank that much, so everyone is the clean up crew.

    My shrimps and crabs have been doing a good job thats how i can tell right away if a snail is dead ther all hanging around the shell

    funny stuff.. my GF makes me flip them over though.. i'm jealous that you've got a wife that can flip her own snails over :D

    She knows ill just leave them there im 5 foot 4 and my tank is 26 tall even on chair i cant reach the bottom without using a net or something
