my wife wants a starfish..which one should i buy?

    first off, i have a fowlr 120gallon. i have 3 tangs and 2 clowns thats it. should i even get one? if so, what kind should i be looking for?

    Serpent, or brittle star. Some of the brittles can eat small fish, though.

    Good point, this is FOWLR.

    You could go with any of the knobby stars, then.

    Since you have a Fowlr it´s pretty much up to you. A very useful but not that spectacular is the sandsifter...

    NO linkia orange or blue, they typically dont live long, so dont waste the money!

    i love my brown brittle starfish, cleans up everything i cant :)

    I heard from my LFS owner that he's had orange linckias survive in the tank (he keeps starfish in the LPS tank) for upwards of a year and a half, but the blue ones have always died within 3-4 months.

    He didn't have either in stock, so it definitely wasn't him trying to sell something.
