Well for Tangs you need at least 75 gallons. I also have 30 gallon and wish I could have tangs, angels, and butterfly's. Start with the clown... they are hardy and a good first addition.

Yea you can find clowns everywhere so I would introduce them
First. For a tank of your size you may be able to do a dwarf angel. Just read up on everything before hand

Clowns first, no tangs, not sure on butterflies but I think they need a very mature system and are picky eaters, dwarf angel last

Start with the clown's and then look into a Coral Beauty or a Flame Angel. I love my Coral Beauty personally...always out and active

No to tangs, no to butterfly fish, and IMO 30 gallons is still kinda small for a dwarf angel. start with the clowns, there are many vibrant varieties available.

I had a Coral Beauty Angel in my 20 gallon along with an Ocellaris clown and both lived more than 6 years. Also had a Flame Angel (7+ years) in a 38 gallon tank, but don't know how well it would do in anything smaller than that as it was a much more active swimmer than the Coral Beauty. The Coral Beauty was also an active swimmer, but the Flame Angel zipped around the tank much faster, and as such seemed to need a larger tank than the Coral Beauty.

Don't put the clownfish in first. They are relatives of damselfish which can be territorial.
Dwarf angelfish are nice, coral beauty angelfish are populer.
