I found this 240g ocean view glass aquarium on craigslist so I decided it was time to upgrade. This aquarium is72" longx31"hx24"deep. It was resiliconed about 1 year ago I was told. It has 3/4 inch thick glass.boy is it heavy.[IMG]I started off by rinsing the tank.[IMG]Then I painted the stand and reinforced it with some 2x4's.[IMG]Then I ordered 3000 glass holes overflow kit and three 3/4" returns and started drillin'.[IMG][IMG]

I broke the 3/4 " drill bit on the last hole about halfway through, luckily my wife had a bit that we used on some granite countertops about a year ago. The guys from glass holes sent me another one. I installed the overflow box and returns then did a leak test.[IMG]nothing leaked yet. Put it back on the stand with some help from my neighbors and brought it into my house.got some Chinese leds and situated it against the wall were the fireplace used to be[IMG][IMG]

I then proceeded to build the sump and started to plumb.this is were it got aggravating.[IMG][IMG]I hooked up two rio 2100 to the returns, they started leaking.the drain to the Refugium started leaking. I had to tighten ,silicone and re Teflon almost everything again. It seemed like once I would get one leak fixed another would spring up.
