I had a large rock with a large colony of eagle eye zoos. They grew from a little frag to cover an entire rock. Now they are all gone, polyps and all?

Here is a little recap of my tank...it has been very exciting one. I had noticed my red sea sailfin was eating my clams, my brain. So about 1 1/2 months ago caught him and moved him to my puffer tank. My brain was placed in my mantis tank to recover

During that time I noted my scribbled rabbit and some other fish eating my acans. So I hoped to retrain them by placing baskets over them, only to find that the rabbit attacked the basket and then went to my candy canes.

During that time I noted my zoos closed up. I did place a new frag in there that I did dip prior to putting in there so thought it was nudi. Even though that frag did ok. So I treated my tank for nudis. I also have another tank that I went ahead and treated for nudis as I have a tendency to move frags of different zoos back and forth.

The smaller tank zoos did great. But I noticed a decline in the numer of zoo polyps still in my big tank.

I caught all my fish that were eating my corals last week and traded them in. I still had a few polyps left of my eagle eyes. Now they are all gone? I lost over 200 polyps (est) of eagle eyes.

I have the small frag in there still and it is doing ok. I have snake corals which are a type of zoo and they are doing well.

So I cant decide if it is
    1. result from my fish eating them...those polyps left were dying. Even though I did not see anything eating them doesnt mean that they were not.
    2. I have massive case of nudi and need to treat again
    3. zoos dont like my water conditions. I keep my kH at 10-12, my pH at 8.4, and calcium at least 420. My ammonia was neg and my nitrates were a little up after catching the fish but is normal now. Maybe they dont like the kH being so high? I had increased that and the pH several months ago after a dino outbreak. I have a chiller and runs at 78.4. I have not changed the lights, my other corals are doing well

    Suggestions?

I suspect you are correct and your tiger cowrie took them out.

Wow, sounds like you been thru it with fish...

My Sailfin ate 1/2 a big frag of Blue snowflake polyps one night..
I moved them, they growing back good.. He's not done it again.. but I keep an eye on him.. If he ever messed with my Yellow polyps. There would be a fight.. LOL
Hope you get things back to normal..

    Good Luck, Larry

yeah I think the cowrie is going to be the last to go. I read that tigers can eat soft corals and polyps but rare! Of course with my luck!
It has to be the cowrie...he has stayed on that rock the last couple days, and usually he only comes out at night
