So, I got a new sunsun dual powerhead today and when I was installing it I decided to clean my glass canopy top because it had a lot of evaporated salt buildup. While I was cleaning it I noticed a little mushroom looking thing, and since it is on the canopy top and is never fully submerged in water I highly doubt it is a coral mushroom. What do you think it is?

Is it a snail? Kind of looks like a freshwater snail on the second pic. First pic looks like some type of polyp.

I'll have to take it off when I get home and see if its a snail, it didn't move at all when I took the canopy off so I didn't think it was a snail. It really looked just like an edible mushroom, or like one you would find growing in your yard.

Corailline is right again lol. I just got home and it is a french fried Stomatella, I have no idea how, or why it got up on my canopy glass though.
