Love the idea of having the control center hidden, but will they get hot once the door is shut? Beautiful design thus far.

I shouldn't see heat being a problem, vents/fans are on the list. Plus when the door is shut/locked it has a nice 1/10" crack.

I like the side panel with all the controller in it.
Gotta keep that in mind if I ever build a custom stand.

For sure, I just like the clean look if gives and keeps everything away from the brains of the system. I hate looking under a stand and seeing wires all scattered in front of controllers and etc. And Building a custom stand is so easy. But I hope you get a chance to build something yourself.

I will. It's a matter of time. (and money).
I'm thinking of moving my tank to the other side of the room, it would be great for a built in with a small space behind it for equipment (can't really call it a fish room it would only be 16" wide by the length of the tank 4').

I built a stand and canopy once for my 125, but that was many lifetimes ago and before I was married with a kid.

This was the plumbing with the skimmer bar.

This is now the plumbing for my new bean animal overflow.

Dang!!! Everyone may love that plumbing but let's talk about that sexy control panel!

    Nice work!
