I have a rock that started out with probably 3-5 green palythoas, now there is probably 100+ on the rock. It is softball sized. Since I am low on funds I was either considering selling the rock, or using a chisel and cracking it in half so I could keep half the colony and sell the other. I will post pics when my lights come on, but how much you think I could sell this for under the two options. Im looking to save some money up for an RODI unit.

Depends on the type of Zoas. Generics might net you 5 bucks for a 2-3 inch frag at a LFS. Maybe 10 to a local reefer, but some stuff is rare and could easily be 30-50 a polyp depending on the lineage. I would guess it is probably some fairly common stuff due to the rate of spreading.

Sounds good, however they are palys, not zoas. Lights came on, will post a pic of daylights and then only under the blues later on tonight.
