Under the guidance of my ex husband we maintained a lovely 75g reef for over 6 years and he taught me ok. I know what goes with what, which pieces are harder to keep etc but I can never remember the names of anything!

So here are some the unidentified pieces I chose and I'd like to know their proper names.
Also, what appears to me to be brain coral... a little difficult to appease. Would it be happier up high closer to the lights or down low in the sand bed?
    Thanks!

Duncan, Mushrooms, Favites, and a Ricordea Mushroom (not certain on this last one, as the photo quality is a bit blurry, but I'm pretty certain).

As for a fleshy brain coral, low on the sandbed is best.

I do feed the first one! It's gotten bigger in just a week and loves mysis shrimp!
Thanks for the info on the fleshy brain too. I love this piece and want it to flourish.

Those are called button polyps and are a species of Zoanthus.
