My favorite class of corals is definitely LPS, but as far as individual varieties I love favias and montis
I have to say that this is probably due to the fact that I have some very colorful varieties of each of these that didn't cost me a ton of money

Combo zoa rock, I have heard 10 different people give it 10 different names, eagle eye, dragon's eye etc. I have fragged it 5 times and my urchin stole about 10 polyps off of it but it is my favorite in my tank right now. Don't know what my all time favorite is, I like them all for different reasons! Even tree coral is cool in the right tank!

there are so many corals that I consider my favorites.......just depends on what I am looking at, at the present time!

I have so many different corals that I love......

For LPS: chalices have to be on the top of the list for me. I love the color morphs that you can get, just dont like the price tag that goes with most of them.

Acans: I have a soft spot for acans as this was one of my first coral I bought. Again, these are getting pricey again, esp the cool aussie ones.

NPS coral: dendros. It is just so cool to have to "work" at a coral as much as you do with dendros and then you get to see it grow and reproduce. Ours get so fat and are producing babies at a very fast rate. I just love the looks of them, even more so then suncorals, however am dying to get a black suncoral next!

SPS: anytype of monti or millis are my favorite in this class. Suprisingly, acros are one of my least favorite corals in my tank. I love them, however if I had my choice I would take a milli anyday! Of the acros however, I wouuld have to say tabeling acros. I want a red planet very badly. (my love for acros might have decreased because we have the worst luck with tanks and these are always the first to suffer)

My absolute fav coral in my tanks has to be our softball size (at least) blue lithophyllon coral. He is so cool, and is growing like a weed. He was one of our only coral that survived the 2nd infamous tank rupture of 2011. He not only survived the heater breaking and frying all our corals to over 98-99 degrees one night (it was on a controller that failed) but it also survived when that same heater caused the overflow of our tank to shatter and we had to shuffle to find a suitable holding system for all of our corals/fish!

Very nice, I kind of have a weird fascination right now with Xenia.
