Just wondering if you have a favorite phytoplankton. I was looking out there and there are like 10 different kinds and all have the same description. Can you make a suggestion

what are you trying/ aiming to feed with it
I am experimenting with Seachems Reef plus in my nano (seeing if it makes a difference and if I can still control parameters whilst using it)

I also used the Kent Microvert, Chromeplex and accel products when my tanks was full of softies

Im not able to confirm if they made any difference to be honest

I am able to confirm that sensible use, did not cause any major issues for me ( No nitrate or Phosphate issues or algae plagues)
I always stayed on the low side of dosing recomendations rather than use the max dose they indicated on the bottles
( after all selling more is good business sense LOL )

I've stopped using any phyto in my tanks and instead, am feeding gut loaded rotifers instead.

I used DT's live phyto in the past but stopped using it and have seen no ill effects with my livestock.

DT's. I had a culture for months that I started with a big bottle of DT's but it crashed for some reason about two weeks ago. I hardly feed any though because I believe filter feeders get enough to eat when the sand gets stirred or the rocks/glass get blown off and cleaned.
