i would try first tho, it looks like you could get like a metal coat hanger down in the crack next to them. Make a bend in it like a L then slip it down under them and pull, maybe they will let go! lol :p just a thought

Well I've tried just about everything to remove these nems safely to them. Flow doesn't work in this case. I tried poking at the feet with a long thin nail attached to a small rod, but all this did was irritate them back into the holes.
So for the bigger one I took a rock covered with zoa's and using EPO-Putty covered the hole where it was attached. After forcing the nem into the hole that is. My hope is that the nem will look for another exit, at which time I'll be able to get at it.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
This sounds very stressful to the anemone and might lead to it's demise. Sometimes you just have to break rock apart to do remove a fish or an invert.

Good luck to you and the anemone.

Personally I have never had to go to such extremes (applying epoxy) to remove an anemone from my tank, but every situation is different I guess.

    :-/

Didn't apply epoxy to *remove* the nem. Just covered the hole it was protruding from, so that it can/will find another exit of which there are many :) If I can't personally/safely move it myself then I'm forcing it to move on it's own.

Haha yup it sure has, but only a little. I do not under estimate the tenacity of this nem :)

Update: No luck as of yet moving the two in the center. However the big big one on the far right is on the move! I irritated it completely back into it hole. I then covered the hole with a rock of zoa's via some EPO-Putty. It showed up this a.m. via another hole about 6" away from the covered one. I then covered that hole with some cheato/rock :) In order for it to get full light it will have to completely come out of the hole. Hoping it will attach to the rock covering the hole :)
