Looks great. My euphyllia sp grow fast too. Why did you decide to go skimmerless? Isn't it good to have something pulling out Dirtyblack water? Looks great though. I recently posted new pics since its my tanks 1yeat birthday but no one ever reads my threads lol. The dragonet looks healthy and happy top

I decided to go skimmerless because I couldn't find one small enough and worth using for my tank. I've tried 2 nano skimmers and both didn't pull enough to warrant the room they were taking up in my tank. Besides they made it look UGLY! I do 25% WC bi-weekly and so far it's working out great :) I don't keep sps so there's nothing to fear of having a little excess nutrients. Actually LPS and softies like it much better.
I don't run a sump. I have only a 3.3g HOB fuge, which is were I keep my cheato/LR rubble and my heater.
Whether it's only a matter of time...or my water changes are doing the trick, it's working out great for me. And for the last 3 weeks I've been feeding frozen 2-3x a day. No signs of algae or cyno :) I've always been a firm believe in water changes. Listened to the majority and after 2 year started using a skimmer. Totally pissed my money away! Lesson learned. IMO~smaller tanks can survive and thrive without the use of a skimmer. Just most people don't like to do water changes :)

I've subscribed to your tank thread! :)

I've been skimmeeless for about a month now mainly because the grips on the slim skim sick but I super glued them in place just haven't reinstalled. Been playing a lot with my new MP10 and the corals love the variety of flow. I really recommend spending the extra money for them they are that amazing. Ice gone through so many powerheads and nano wave makers but nothing can come close to the quality and flow ranges the mp10 provides.

Did you are all my new pictures on my latest thead? In my sig the last page of that thead has a link to what I posted last night. Those are by far some of my best photos mainly since a bought a new blackberry that has a great auto focus camera. My stupid Sony powershot doesn't even take better pictures.

Oh ya I was gomma say in like the past six months my hammer and my frogspawn has split probably eight times now. My clown loves swimming in and out of the frogspawn. So beautiful

Oh ya I also do a 10-15g wc twice monthly but lately trying to do less at once per month but with weekly cleaning sponges filters pumps and I feed fish twice daily w small punch of veggie flakes or a quarter cube of brine twice daily. I need a new pistol shrimp too, mine was found carpet surfing and now my shrimp goby has no sand tunnel or a friend. His life consists now of hiding in the back of my rock work barely feeding :/
