Nano cube 12 gal. light issues

I have a nano cube 12 gallon and I had it for about 2 yrs. and once every 6 months the light went out. so we would wait until our new light would come in about a year l8ter. Now its sitting empty cause i moved those fish in my new tank. Now the light just went out again. Our LFS is good to us a bout getting a new light not not charge us. Is there anyone who this happened to?

Is there any other light out there that could work on the nanocube that is not made by them. We think its the ballast is the issue. I wouldnt reccomend JBJ for any light. unless you want to wait for ever to get a new light.
