Also, keep in mind,my wife let me go all out on my 65,so there's still gonna be some convincing that has to be done, plus i'm still not out of trouble with her from the 65 yet.So i'm using my kids as leverage, haha.

I like the frog tank idea or mantis tank. My boy and I had a tree frog tank that was cool until the fog machine shorted and ZAP. I like the thought of poison dart frogs except the poison part;) I like the paludarium concept though

I'm debating on what to do with my new 5G too.

I'll give ya some seahorses in a few months if ya change your mind;)

You're as bad as Cheryl,I love seahorses! As long as they are in your tank, lol.

But i am really liking the idea of a little waterfalling habitat with suitable critters. The mod would be as simple as drilling a hole in the false sump wall to let water in from the bottom and use the return for the waterfall.

Nah, can't give up my high end fancy pieces;) plus my boy will kill me, he loves watching it grow "hair" GSP

Do this, that sounds pretty cool. You could actually prob stock it from a stream next year, alot of cool salamanders around here, a few crawdads, some fiddlers, and a few cool tree frogs.

That pineapple will look like a chia pet before much longer, lol.

But we do have a large stream right out back loaded with salamanders, tad poles, crawdads, you name it,plus I live ontop of a giant limestone deposit/mine,i've used the river rocks for years without leeching issues, plus all kinds of driftwood. We may have a winner coming together!
