I recently had to take down my dear 75g, due to moving and not being able to bring with.:(

Well Id like to get a nano cube, or something like it. What should I know? Whats the best kind to get? The least amount of gallons I should go to, and Which kind is better the one with the hood, or the one with the light that hangs over??

Any other useful information will be appreciated:)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like the Nanocube 12 gal and the 24 gal. Good PC lighting to keep LPS and some sps. If you want some pictures pm me. I got pictures of a Aquapod 24 gal and JBJ 28 gal as well.

I have a 14 gal bio cube. They are definetly the best way to go 8 gal. is hard to keep up on, it was my first tank if you could get a 29 gal. biocube that would be awesome!

The 29 gallon Bio cube is super cool and has tons of upgrades available, nice looking too. I also Like the new set up from Fluval- the "Edge", but it is very small- 5 gallons I think.

As for what's best- depends upon what you want to keep. I personally prefer stuff that can be upgraded that way you are not "stuck"- maybe you should consider a reg. 29 gallon tank- I have pic's of mine here on the forum you can check out.

I have a 29 gallon BioCube HQI set up. To me the hood vs HQI depends on what types of corals you want to have. if you're looking for corals that require a high W light of some sort, such as brains, the HQI is the way to go. It has a 150 W bulb built for that purpose. The hooded model, on the other hand, is limited to just soft corals such as polyps, trees, etc. It has 2 lights, 31W each I believe, so you would have 72W of light. You should visit Oceanis's site and read more about the two models.

I have the BC 29 and love it. The one thing that I would recommend you definitely get no matter what size nano is an ATO system. With such a small water volume, the SG swings will happen a lot faster.
