    Wont the hermits try to munch on the snails?

    no my tank is full of hermits conches snails and what not and they all get along fine and dandy

    That's because conchs are big and poisonous and your hermits are small. Skip the hermits, all they do is nothing and knock over coral frags. I have seen small blue legged hermits take on full size mex turbos and win!

    Keep all your critters fed, including your hermits, and you won't have issues.

    I have the 6 gal NanoCube and I have 3 red legged hermits, 3 blue leg hermits, 4 small nassurius, and 6 small turbos. I had a huge turbo in there for a while, but I put him in the 12 gal. I haven't had a problem with any kind of algae and my tank is 2 years old.

    I will be getting a cleaning shrimp soon.

    my cleaner shrimp died in 2 days he didn't get enough food!:(

    He didn't starve in 2 days. He was either not healthy at the LFS or he had some sort of shock (i.e. salinity, pH, temperature).

    How did you acclimate it and what are your parameters for the above 3?

    drip acclimate parameters were all good the hermit we used to have ate all the algae and leftover food though ...and he was aggresive!:angry:

    keep them well fed give them shells and your good!
