Hello , i'm in trouble i upgrade my pwr head, for the original w/ RIO 200, and place original in 1st chamber along w/ chemi-pure, the pwr head is facing left wall to create a suction mechanism and give circulation in sump ,and also to make a 3 different levels of water in sump to make it a true wet/dry filter, it work fine for couple of hrs. :huh:THEN trouble begin, all the water from second and third chamber is overflowing the main tank. so there is almost no water in those chambers
then i remove pwr head from 1st chamber, and still the same. I think there is a leak in the sump where the walls of chamber unite w/ back wall. would that be the problem?. :( :'( ,
Anybody familiar w/ nanos system and what i'm talking about. please help
thank's for any info, suggestions. and sorry for the long story ;D

I think that is a problem for sure, but what is weird to me is that your chambers don't have water. I'd think if there was a leak, they'd be full because the water from the main tank would come in?  [smiley=stars.gif] [smiley=dunce2.gif]

    What I'm I missing?

OH YEAH. You upgraded your powerhead?
Seems like too much flow now.

Found problem, i have the chemi-pure in the 1st chamber (bottom) so it was blocking the water flow to the other chambers so i put it on top of the sponge, and it works fine now. I have a RIO 200 wich is about 140 gph according to the box. :p

    Thank's ;D

May seem fine....make sure the water dose not cross the tops of the dividers.....that would kill thier purpose of having them (to a degree). I perfer the stagered water levels as i know there's no crossover between chambers and the water gets full passage through each....sponge....sponge/sponge or songe/ceramic cylinders and bio balls(if little LR).....carbon.....pump return chamber.
