What would be a good fixture for a 10 gal. if i wanted to keep some sps in it? Its a standard 10 gal. rect. tank i had 20"L, 12"T, 10"W. I'm probably going to have a 2" sand bed in it so it'll only be maybe 9" deep. I'm open to all suggestions be it PC, T-5, hood fixtures or retros!!!!! I just need some different ideas, I'm kinda scratching my head.

It would be a shame if you didn't get metal halide lighting. If not go with t5-6. Don't think you wanna use pc's for sps.

you could run that little 70 watt mh with a 14k bulb and be perfect. no MH would't be too much for a 10. Especially if you are trying to keep sps.

70 watt clip on viper, nano tuners retro kits... That where I added my extra 24 watts from...... It depends on what you want to spend and keep....

Yep...150w would be cooking your critters in my opinion...

I get by just fine with 24w over my 12 gallon Nano. But then again I only keep some soft corals and frogspawn in it...
