I would be very happy to order from another hobbyiest. I feel like that's almost always the way to go.

Any recommendations on what to keep as a CUC?

How does that stocking list look? What other options are out there?

So shipping doesn't magically change between saltwater and freshwater...oh well. Is it difficult to ship saltwater fish, especially in the middle of winter to middle of nowhere western ny?

    Your stock looks good.

As far as cuc, you'll want aixture of small hermit crabs, snails, and shrimp.

Just go to reefcleaners.org and John already has quick crews put together. You can also email him what you are wanting to do and he will get right back to you. You can't beat his customer service! :) I personally don't know why you would need shrimp though. I would just go with snails for now and if you want, add just one hermit crab. You want to make sure you have plenty of shells for him to choose from, or he will kill your snails for their shells.

I'm just a shrimp lover...:) but yeah your right, probably not nesesary. The good thing about crabs is that they can remove ditritus and gunk that's deep in crevices and places were snails can't go.

I like shrimp too. That reefcleaners.org seems like an awesome setup. It really makes things simple.

I barely survived my Quantum Mechanics Final exam this morning (and I mean BARELY) but now I pretty much just have a lot of busy work.

When I take breaks from studying this week I'm going to do a little more research on DIY LEDs and some more stocking ideas.

I'd love to hear about your favorite fish that are compatible with a setup of 20 gallons or less :D

I love quantum physics, it's intriguing.

    As for fish...

    Occelaris clowns
    Yellow watchman gobies
    Bangaii cardinal?
    Firefish
    Jawfish

If if you go to LA and go under "nano fish" you'll find what you want:)

Yep that's where i've been poking around the most.

I really like the colors of the Catalina Goby but it looks like the water temperature will be too cool for what I'm shooting for. Ughhhh I want to get started now!

If you want an led fixture that's done you should look into the par38s.

I may have found a tank. It's an Aquapod 24 and seems to be at a fair price. I'm entirely sure what's coming with it but the dimensions are more cubical and would be easier for my setup.

I'm not sure if the filter is coming with it. There may or may not be a top either. If not I'll continue with my LED project.

I'm not sure if I can post craigslist threads on here so if you can look at the lot for me and tell me what you think that would be greatly appreciated. Let me know and i will pm you the link.

I need to act semi-fast because they are moving on Saturday (I have my first day of winter work on saturday too so when I drive by them on Friday heading home will be the only chance I can pick it up).

    Thanks!
