I would have to take the tank with me. I'll be going home for winter break for a month and then be returning to college.

You're not a "party pooper" I'd rather hear helpful suggestions than to embarrass myself.

Anyway this project will have to be put on hold because I can't put this on my family at this time. I don't think it would cause them any stress because it would be constantly under my control but I can't risk anything at this point in time.

I will keep deal hunting and planning and, of course, researching. Most importantly I'll keep dreaming of my future tank.

For some happy news...I'm just about done with my semester. Woot woot!

Well, I hate to say it, but I think he may be right. Moving twice a year or more will end up being very stressfull on your fish and inverts. You are very likely to lose quite a few, they're much more delicate than fresh water fish. It's also much more expensive than fresh water, so it would depend on who is paying for this hobby and for your schooling as to whether your dad should have a say so or not. It will all still be here, and probably even better, by the time you can provide a more stable home for your fishies. Good luck :)

Thanks for the luck but it's not necessary :D I listened to his advise (rightfully so). I'm going to wait awhile. Freshwater has more than enough to keep me preoccupied and I've gotten pretty good at making the transitions not as stressful as it would be for salty ones. I would really love to get my hands on some rhinogobius zhou in the freshwater realm of things but that'll be at a much future date...oh so much to do and not enough space to do it.

thanks you guys! I really appreciate it!

It's really a simple DIY. I was surprised at how simple it was and it really looks so cool in RL. FW is a bit of a change of pace from SW but still cool. :D

Please forward the link onto your friends if possible. I really need all the help I can get. The other entries are actually creative :p
