I need opinions for a nano skimmer fo the 24g nanocube i just ordered. Ill be running approx 30lbs of LR, 35 lbs of LS, and a 150w HQI with some led's. I posted about the current fission (obviously not a hit)....and was wondering about anyones opinion on other skimmers. Price isnt much of an issue. I was really intereted in the tunze. Any input will ease my mind...and help aleviate bordom....;)

I've been running AquaC's Remora on my 20H and haven't had any problems. That being said, it's the first and only skimmer I've ever run...but it hasn't blown up and covered my room with scum and gunk or anything...yet...
    ;)
Hope that helps...alleviate the boredom since it's not much use for anything else.

I second that emotion! Aqua C remora is awesome! I have the Aqua C EV180 as well for my 125 gallon tank.

AquaC has a new nano remora skimmer which is just slightly smaller than the remora. Geez that a big spider:eek:

Well, I bought the AquaC Nano

So far so good, a bit large than I had though...but thats def a good thing. Fits fperfectly right in the return chamber and hasnt really put out any micro-bubbles. Thanks for the input guys.

As you've probably seen me write in the other posts, there are ways to deal with the bubbles and the sound. The sound is the bit I can't totally get rid of. But now it's kind of just white noise. Like cars driving by outside. Of course, I've never run another type of skimmer, so maybe this isn't all that bad. No basis of comparison...
    Good luck!
