I wouldn't use any of those for target practice ;) You get what you pay for, and unfortunately, nano skimmers are no exception. Look at a tunze.

EDIT: Is this going to be on a BioCube (or similar) or just a regualr type tank?

I figured they are all crap, my coralife needle wheel casing broke and I wondering if I could swap the coralife motor on to one of these...

Im just dreaming too hard I think

Lucky I just saw Matt posted what seems to be a good skimmer on the home page.

    skimmers?

hi there, thought i would just mention here that i had a v2 120 nano skimmer in my river reef 90 litre tank and it ran exceptionally well. its a compact little unit and is very easy to adjust.it started skimming effectively after about an hour or so. might be worth a look
.......i know its not any of the ones you have mentioned but i thought i would just let you know ;D(oh and in case you wondered i dont work for nano or anything slightly related!!!) lol

    Nano WG@308

I just purchased one of these on ebay for my nano 80 ltr and it's doing very well, took about an hour to really get going, pity the collection cup isn't bigger (hey, nano means?) but I'm emptying every second day, very happy with the unit for the price and size. I only paid $7.00 AUST dollars (+ more for postage of course) but at that price I could afford to risk the investment. Doubt, however that this unit would be enough for anything larger.
    Good luck.

I wouldn't touch any of them with a ten foot pole. A good nano-skimmer is hard to come by. Pack said he wouldn't use them for target practice. I might.

What size tank are you trying to outfit?

So far the only decent nano skimmer I have found the Aquatic Life 115 skimmer. It seems to work very well for the money. Most of the others are just crap, but they can work on a small enough tank. For most small skimmers I say cut the manufactures tank size by 1/4 and that will come close to something it can work on.
