Hello i am going to get the spectaculary order it is only 50 dollars and free shipping
It comes with 12 hermit crabs, 10 snails, a sea wip( gorgonian),mushroom coral and a rock anenome
My consern is that i have no experiance with rock anenomes or gorgonians. Are they challenging to keep, were to place them ,lighting requiments? thanks

 

IMO you definitely don't want 12 hermits in your tank! The are destructive at times and will kill your snails is given the chance. I personally have 2 in my 26g and watch them very carefully.

Rock anems not so much a challenge. They should be fed meaty foods. Given the opportunity they can and will eat fish can get rather large. Higher up under compact florescent or low to mid under anything else.

Gorgonians's (sea whips) Sea Fans are similar to soft corals, however, they anchor themselves in mud or sand instead of attaching themselves to hard substrates. Some Sea Fans require up to 8 inches of sand. Most Sea Fans are nocturnal, only extending their polyps during the nighttime hours. They consume plankton and require strong currents to carry their food.
