I have 3 Reidi horses in my 55 gal tank. The problem is that there is a massive colony of Aiptasia as well as mega amounts of calerpa. I have handfuls that I have to crop every week. So I want to know if any of the nano systems (size, equipment etc) would be suitable for these guys? As well it woul dbe nice to have the horses in the living room for people to enjoy.

    Thanks

I don't know of a nano suitable for 3 reidis as the recommendation is 29/30g for the first pair and and extra 15g for each additional pair, meaning you should be looking in the area of about 37g.
While it can, and has been done, it takes a LOT more husbandry to maintain water quality, and usually modifications need to be done to keep the plug'n play systems cool enough to try and avoid the bacterial infestations that can occur in the water temperatures, especially in smaller water volumes.

i have kept 3 seahorse tanks and i think a red sea max 34 gallon would probably be sufficient, just keep it in itp top shape to make up for the lack of room.
