Do you think is a good nano for doing corals and if not what do think I would have to add to the tank to make it more suitable.

12 Gallon, 54W Compact Fluorescent System - Includes: Surface skimming filtration system, 1-27W square pin Dual Daylight 6700°K/10000°K Daylight bulb, 1-27W square pin Dual Actinic 420nm/460nm Actinic bulb, 2 blue LED lights, cooling fan, mechanical sponge filter, 160 gph submersible pump with flat nozzle, and complete instructions.

i have been considering an Aquapod as well. Does anyone have an experience with these? How does the model Cwop357 mentions look for corals?

Hmmm, I'll get back to you on this. No IME yet, but i've read enough to write a paper on mods for them :p

    Current Aquapod - nanocustoms

Not a whole lot you can mod with the stock hood :(
But, if you wanna run topless get a Viper MH or similar clip-on!

LMK if you have questions on it. I'll get some links together for you both :)

I have a 12 gal Pod - like it much better than the wife's JBJ - don't have the evaporation issue that the JBJ has. Swapped out the original pump for a MJ900.

so 54 watts for a 12 gal tank would not be enough for corals??
glampa do you have corals in your pod?
    thanks!

I'm in the process of stocking it. Right now I have a hammer, mushroom, brain & candy cane.
